(4LEAF) is a California-based professional services firm providing Construction Management, Inspection, Plan Review, Planning, and Environmental Services to municipal Building and Public Works Departments throughout the United States. 4LEAF is seeking qualified Construction Managers for Civil Infrastructure and Public Works projects. The ideal candidate will be able to perform contract administration tasks, observe and evaluate the contractor's compliance with the construction documents, and assess the contractor's proposed remedial actions for public works projects. Responsibilities Perform pre-construction duties and chair pre-construction meetings. Review contract requirements, evaluate change order requests, and assess cost/time impacts; process RFIs, change orders, pay requests, etc. Enforce contract requirements; interpret specifications/drawings; manage claims; and mitigate potential impacts on cost and schedule. Provide accurate measured quantities and review pay estimates submitted by contractors. Continuously review plans and specifications. Attend and lead weekly construction meetings. Report discrepancies requiring corrective actions to the owner. Coordinate construction activities ensuring compliance with all jurisdictional requirements; represent the client at meetings; and liaise with local groups and agencies. Manage and oversee daily project activities. Minimum Qualifications At least 5 years of experience as a Construction Manager on civil infrastructure projects. CA Civil Engineer registration or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred. Knowledge of Caltrans LAPM is desirable. Experience with state and federally funded projects. Experience with roadway, earthwork, utilities, and traffic signalization projects. Proficiency in computer skills, writing, organization, and communication. Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Experience with Caltrans Structures is a plus. Physical Demands Ability to lift 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, stand for long periods, and walk on uneven surfaces. Ability to work in adverse weather conditions. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $145,000 - $175,000 annually, based on experience and certifications. 401(k), dental, health, and vision insurance. Flexible spending account, paid time off. Schedule Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed. Certification Requirements Driver's License required.
