First Connect Health is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio.

Position: RN – ICU
Location: Akron, OH

Compensation:

• Local Weekly Gross: $1,692 ($47/hour)
• Travel Weekly Gross: $2,200
• Weekly Non-Taxable Stipend: $1,246
• W2 Hourly Rate: $26.50

Contract Details:

• Duration: 15 weeks
• Scheduled Hours: 36 hours/week (3×12-hour shifts)
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Start Date: September 14, 2025
• Floating: Yes – to Neuro ICU and Telemetry Unit
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Patient Ratio: Typically 1:1 or 1:2, may increase to 1:3 based on patient acuity
• Unit Size: 26 beds
• Block Scheduling: Not available

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of prior ICU RN experience
• Current BLS , ACLS , and NIH Stroke Scale (AHA) certifications
• EPIC experience within the past year (required)
• Active OH or Compact RN license
• First-time travelers accepted
